The industrial lighthouse "breathed" 17000 lumens of light from off-grid solar, controlled remotely by mobile data, according to live Duwamish River water quality data across Seattle's Elliot Bay. Healthy human breath rhythm light for good water quality & panicked human breath rhythm light for bad.

Inspired by line found in the net sheds at the Fisherman's Terminal, and the former site's story as a marine rigging warehouse, this semi-figurine form was sculpted from 4" repurposed mooring line encased in a skin of modular tig welded 3/8" thick stainless rods around 3 marine cleats of bronze rod.
